BARDENA NEGRA MTB | GRAVEL
Located on the southern edge of Bardena, La Negra could also be called the Unknown Bardena. Usually, visitors frequent the most popular areas of the BARDENA BLANCA such as Castildeterra and El Rallón, thereby ensuring that the rest of Bardena maintains its "semi-desert" status.
BARDENA NEGRA PUNTO BIKE is therefore a 2-stage route proposal which allows us to explore the most authentic and lonely corners of this inhospitable region in an intense weekend.
With base points in Tudela and Tauste the track runs West - East the Bardena navarra first and the aragonesa later in stage A. In stage B we first cross from south to north the hidden and somewhat technical paths of the Aragonese Bardena then turning West to head back to Tudela making the last kilometers of the route through the BARDENA BLANCA.

In the surroundings of Cabanillas more than in "La Negra" it will seem to us to be in the Bardena Orange.

Cabezos de Sancho Abarca (left) Peña El Fraile (center) and Punta del Aguilar (right) are the last formations of the Bardenas in the South. We rest at the top of Sancho Abarca and then start a long descent to Tauste.
From Sancho Abarca, the typical Bardenas territory is diluted in the Ebro Basin.

The base of PIRINEOS PUNTO BIKE in Tudela 3 star establishment strongly linked to the world of cycling in all its styles. In its vicinity we will have cleaning boxes to remove dust and mud from the Bardenas of our bicycles, and inside all the comforts that cyclists and their bikes need.

At this stage, which ends in the south of the Bardenas we can decide whether to stay in Tauste, which will be easy to perceive as a city that receives us on our trip through the desert or stay to “live” one night at the top of the Cabezo of Sancho Abarca in the hotel of the existing Sanctuary at the top. An experience, the latter not without isolation but certainly enduring in our future memory.
This option reduces the length of the stages by approximately 16 kilometers.

- Best time to go: The route can be done at any time of the year.
Spring and autumn are usually the most pleasant seasons; In winter it will depend on what winter, if the ground is dry it is a very good option, but with mud it can be scary. In summer it will depend on our state of form, but the heat can wreak havoc, we must assume it as an adventure in the desert. - Type of tracks: In general, trails and tracks with more physical than technical demand, both uphill and downhill.
- Ideal bike: Any Mountain, Trek or Gravel bike.
- Orientation: The route is followed by a GPS track.
- Ciclability: The route is 100% cyclable.
- Philosophy: The route is designed so that the stages can be completed and we still have a large part of the day to enjoy the place where we are.
- Provisioning: None, we must be self-sufficient.

208 € Price per person for groups of 6 or more people
229 € Price per person for groups of 4 or 5 people

Single room supplement: + 86 €
When the group is made up of an odd number of people, will be equally necessary an odd number of requests to access this supplement
And you can add a Night with Breakfast at the end of the route -in the same hotel where you started it- - for 32 € per person in a double room or for 60 € in a single room
In these proposals when the groups are odd, the accommodation is offered in double rooms and a single room.
- TRIPLE ROOMS ARE NEVER USED -
If you want the price of the Pack to be cheaper, perhaps we can lower the level of one of the chosen hotels. And also, if the number of participants is odd; request a triple room.

Rates for the whole year, subject to availability.
The prices may vary when the dates coincide with the Easter holidays or with the Patron Festivities of any of the places of accommodation.

If possible, we will try to help you in case of a breakdown, but in many situations this help can be very limited due to lack of specific spare parts or other circumstances.
